$0 cost but $10,000 a month in sales

Filed Under (Blogging, Make money) by James on 23-08-2008

I came across a news article few weeks ago about making money online.

The news headline is: Cost $0, Monthly sales $10,000

What really impressed me was the online business is actually run by a teenager – Ruth Chua !

She started the business as a hobby and she never expect to do so well.

So what is her business? Bascially, she sells things like kitschy clothes and handmade accessories on her blog. I could not really find her blog through google, I wonder why?

The news article also mentioned another teenager who does the same business. Here is the link http://mynt-shop.livejournal.com/

Setting up a blog is free and everybody can do it. I too have several blogs making me money online. One of them is savingtipssg.blogspot.com. My blog is on tips on how to save money in Singapore and I made money from this blog from Adsense.  If you want to know how to make money from Adsense, download my free ebook here.

You can download the full news article here.

Cool looking blog, can I ask you what template you are using and how much it costs? I have been using cheap ones but can’t find one that I actually like.

The difficulty using Private label rights blog posts and articles is the fact buyers tend not to make use of it in the correct way. They should either apply it to get tips for things to write about or entirely re-write it or ” spin ” it up and then place their own identify into it.

I receive the absolute maximum traffic via my articles using social book-marking and social traffic. Now when I post a short article to ArticleAlley or GoArticles or where ever I additionally promote it on twitter, facebook and Tumblr then I bookmark it on a number of book-marking web sites like stumbleupon and Diigo. Ever since I’ve been working on this I have seen my article visits shoot up by more than 140%
