Let me tell you first that John Cow must be crazy for giving away the ebook free. Why? Because the useful tips and information on how to start an “online business blog” is easily worth at least $97 in my opinion. Well, I think maybe John Cow does not need the money or he just want to be popular.

Ok here is my review:

The ebook is 130 pages long jam packed with great solid information on how to build a business blog.

John Cow said that you should not just build a blog but you should build one with the purpose of making money. Most blog that I know does not do that simply because they do not know they can actually make money out of it. If you are spending time building your blog, why not gain some reward from it right?

He laid out a very good introduction on how you should focus your time maybe 2 hours a day to build your blog. How much money you are going to make will determine how much time you are willing to spend on your blog. For me, I tried my best to write at least 5 posts a week with the hope that my readers will keep coming back to my blog.

John cow also wrote a very good topic on keyword research. Keyword research is very important in determining what your blog should be. Why write a blog if nobody is interested in right? I myself benefited alot from keyword research. Keyword reseach allows you to find the market trend and demand. Sometimes 1 keyword is all that it takes to make you lots of money. John Cow used Traffic Travis for keyword research. Well, in my opinion I don’t find traffic travis as good as Keyword Elite in terms of user friendliness. Maybe I should do a post on Traffic travis Vs Keyword Elite some day.

There is also a topic on how to setup your wordpress blog, installing plugins etc. I did not know about google sitemap plugin until John Cow mentioned it. I always thought that I just need to submit my URL to google to get my site index. Using google sitemap plugin will get all the pages on my blog index. Very cool indeed! I also installed akismet plugin that will automatically removed spam comments.

The rest of the topics are talking about how to market your business blog through joint venture, public release web, forum etc. Forum is a good place to market your blog. I visit warrior forum alot and you can get alot of traffic back to your site.
